Adams County Justice Center’s new wing matches existing look, manages energy demands, serves growing population

The architects sought to match the existing aesthetic, provide views and daylighting, and efficiently manage energy use. To accomplish these design goals, Wausau Window and Wall Systems engineered and manufactured 21,265 square feet of its HP-Wall Series' high-performance curtainwall system.

LEED-certified McCormick Place features Wausau’s curtainwall to maximize daylighting, energy efficiency, long-term performance

McCormick Place serves as the 2010 venue for the USGBC's annual Greenbuild conference. One of Chicago's economic centers, McCormick Place has expanded to meet the demands of visiting conventions and events, as well as to minimize its environmental impact. McCormick Place's West and South buildings are each certified under the LEED® Green Rating System and guided by a Green Action Team.

University of Wisconsin at Whitewater’s Starin Hall reaches accessible, sustainable goals with help from Wausau’s windows

Wausau’s operable windows contribute to the hall’s energy efficiency, low maintenance, long lifespan and its anticipated Gold certification under the LEED® Green Rating System, which would make this the first state-owned, LEED-certified residence hall in Wisconsin.

University of Wisconsin at Stout selects energy-efficient, durable Wausau windows for Hovlid Hall expansion and renovation

Work on the building was part of a $13 million project that included renovation of Hovlid Hall's 40,000 square feet and 194-person capacity of residential space, plus construction of a new student dining and fitness facility.

Wausau Windows and Wall Systems' psychiatric windows were selected to maintain patient safety, promote wellness and maintain a similar visual profile, while updating the building's energy efficiency.
